“I moved to Flower Mound High School when I was going into freshman year. I used to go to a school district that was in a very poor neighborhood and because of that the schools weren’t very good, the classes weren’t as challenging, and the teachers didn’t care as much as they do here at Flower Mound. I’m just very grateful for that fact that I was given so many opportunities here at Flower Mound that I wasn’t given in my old hometown. And I just want to thank all the teachers that I’ve had in high school and all the mentors that have come into my life because I would not have been able to try and achieve my dreams if it wasn’t for them.”
