“I was very nervous before the start of the school year but when I got to high school I realized it was a lot better than middle school and I’ve been enjoying all my classes for the most part. Being at FM9 gives you an opportunity to get to know your classmates from the different feeder schools. Having a freshman-only campus helped me feel more confident going into high school because if you went to an FMHS feeder school, you know like a third of your classmates already. I like it a lot better than middle school because I have more freedom. I like the dynamic of high school better because I get more say in what my school life looks like. I picked classes that I’m interested in, and although they are challenging, I have learned a lot.”
