“Public speaking is something I have built up as a skill for this year; I noticed that everything I preached I would try to get myself to follow it as closely as possible because I didn’t want to sound hypocritical. I know that public opinion can be scary but sometimes…it will eventually become accepted. Don’t be afraid to stumble over your own words. One thing I’ve noticed is that when you are speaking and trying to make up words on the fly, it’s kinda hard because you might be thinking too much about word choice and avoiding pause. Nobody is chastising you for that because that's not how speeches work. Presidents do it, Marther Luther King did it, I’m doing it right now, and many people other than me. Don’t worry about the audience because giving speeches is a very, very important way of speaking your opinions and maybe if I do pursue a career in speaking, I can write or speak a great speech in history.”
