Mrs. Seat

“US history is boring to me. I like the idea of looking at the entire globe. When I first went to school, I specialized in European history, and then when we started teaching AP World History it was this wonderful opportunity to expand my knowledge base. And that’s one of the things that I really like about world history because it covers a little bit of everything and it gives students the ability to get interested in something and possibly go research something in more detail. So that’s why world history, it’s fun. It’s exciting, I don’t have to teach the same thing everyday. I can change things up, I can talk about different areas, different empires, different people, and it makes it fun and I can tailor it to my classes.”
