“Diving into freshman year is definitely a lot different than middle school because the classes are a lot more rigorous as well as balancing band and tennis, especially fall season, cause we have marching band as well as the competitive season of tennis, so it was kind of hard balancing, but I definitely liked the freedoms as well as the friend groups and being able to express yourself freely. My favorite memory this year was whenever the band went to nationals in Indianapolis because it was just a totally different experience that I’ve never experienced before and I got to be with my friends as well as doing something I love.”

“Knowing that your brother is leaving, what are you going to miss, or not miss, about him?” “We share a room so always waking up at 5:30 to go to the gym, like those little things, but also just his quirkiness and him being a role model to me, I’m gonna miss that. A few things I won’t miss is whenever he just like yells at me and teases me, but I mean that comes with being a younger brother but I’m going to miss him a lot.”
