“Honestly, Rhode Island shouldn’t be its own state. We should just combine it in with Connecticut and make it one state. This would also remove Rhode Island’s confusing name because it is not, in fact, an island. If we just merge these two states, we could then bring in Puerto Rico as the 50th state and that would be pretty cool. By the way it’s a REAL island, not an imposter. Rhode Island is just too small and it really doesn’t need its own state and misleading name. I actually don’t have anything against Rhode Island. It just makes sense in my head I guess.”
