“I started to get into music when I was four years old. That’s when my parents put me into piano lessons. I didn’t even know I could really sing until I made the 5th grade honor choir. Then when I was in 6th grade I chose choir as my elective over band, orchestra, and art and got the opportunity to have a solo and be in honor choir again.
When I went to go audition for 7th grade region choir I freaked myself out before the audition and didn’t make the choir. I was very discouraged and was about to quit. But in 8th grade I made region choir and felt like I was on cloud nine. So those are some things that made me love music.”
